New contact status under People is 'Never Subscribed' after a successful purchase

If the new customer or contact status under People is showing as "Never Subscribed" after a successful purchase, you can update your system settings to ensure that people can receive marketing emails as well. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Go to your Kajabi admin dashboard.
  2. Click on "Settings" in the top navigation menu.
  3. Select "Checkout Settings".
  4. Under the "Email Opt-in / Additional Options" section, check the option "Automatically sign up customers to your email list when they purchase a paid Offer" to enable people to receive marketing emails.
  5. Save your changes.

By updating the email opt-in settings to "Automatically," customers who make a successful purchase will be subscribed to receive marketing emails as well. This allows you to engage with them and provide relevant information about your products or services and events.
